41st Semi-Annual Bead Bazaar

The 41st Semi Annual Bazaar will be held November April 23-24, 2005 at the Exhibition Center at the Ramada Inn in New Carrolton, MD, from 10 AM - 5 PM on Saturday, and 11 AM - 5 PM on Sunday. The bazaar proceeds help fund the Bead Museum and the BSGW's educational programs, lecture series and other activities.

Since 1984, the Spring and Fall Bead Bazaars have grown to include up to seventy vendors from around the world offering beads and findings, ancient, antique and tribal; tools and equipment; and contemporary designer jewelry. Demonstrations of various bead making techniques  and bead-related lectures are presented.

Don't forget to bring your "mystery beads". The Society's experts at the Bead ID table will identify them without charge. The book section can provide you with selected books on beads and beadwork: history, culture, design, crafts, techniques, including "how-to" books with great gift ideas.
