36th Semi-Annual Bead Bazaar

The 36th Semi-Annual Bead Bazaar will be held on November 9-10, 2002.  Proceeds of the bazaar help fund our museum, our educational programs, lecture series and other activities of our Society.

Since 1984, the Spring and Fall Bead Bazaars have grown to include almost seventy vendors from around the world.  They offer beads,  loose and strung,  ethnic ornaments,  findings,  tools and equipment,  and stunning designer jewelry.

The spring Bazaar features the marvelous museum-like Bead Appreciation
table whose custodians share their vast knowledge of beads and their history. Our fall bazaar highlights jewelry created by local designers, with proceeds of sales benefiting The Bead Museum.

The Society's experts at the Bead ID table will identify your "mystery beads"  without charge,  while the book section can provide you with volumes on every aspect of  beads and beadwork:  history,  culture, design,  crafts,  and techniques,  as well as videos and periodicals.
